The Property Management Association’s Apartment Community Excellence (PACE) Awards 2012
PMA held their second annual PACE Awards this fall, and Allen & Rocks was well represented. A panel of seasoned professional apartment management judges toured over 100 properties managed by a selection of the leading management companies in the greater Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Baltimore Metropolitan Areas.
All aspects of the communities were judged including vacant apartments, the amenities, the maintenance shop, and the common areas and signage. Judges also reviewed some of the intangible features of the community, like past resident events and service initiatives. To be considered for any award the community must obtain a score of 90% or better.
The Encore at Wheaton Station, The Renaissance Club, The Metropolitan of Baltimore, and The Ivy Club all participated this year. Allen & Rocks sets a very high standard for their properties, and PACE was able to put a number to that standard. Every one of our communities scored over ninety five percent, earning them each a Distinguished Community Award. The Ivy Club was also honored with a Judges Choice Award, because although they missed the top numerical score, the committee of judges felt the community deserved high recognition. The Metropolitan of Baltimore won first place in their category, earning the greatly coveted PACE Award.
Allen & Rocks strives for excellence at all times, and the company is thrilled to have our success recognized by PMA. To learn more about the association and PACE awards, please visit pma-dc.org/pace-award.
